The Bennington Children's Chorus was established in 1987 to offer children in Bennington County, Vermont and the surrounding areas of New York and Massachusetts a community choral experience of the highest possible level. Chorus members learn, memorize and perform many styles of vocal music, including folk music and newly composed works.
The chorus is committed to providing quality music instruction which develops each singer's vocal ability. We create an environment in which children can experience the joy of singing, develop confidence and become a vital part of a musical team.
The Bennington Children's Chorus is a vital part of our neighboring arts community. We collaborate with the Williams College Chorus, Bennington College, Sage City Symphony, the Battenkill Chorale, the Pioneer Valley Symphony, the Green Mountain Youth Orchestra and other area children's chorus
